Vegan Pancakes (only 4 ingredients)


I love vegan pancakes. I can have them for breakfast, lunch or dessert I just love eating sweat stuff. A few weeks ago a friend stayed over for a few days and she craved for something sweet. Well normally I do not have chocolate or cookies at home because I eat everything at once. I can’t just eat one piece of chocolate. It doesn’t work for me. So I made her pancakes.

These vegan pancakes ar very simpel and quick to make. If you don’t mind have any vegan milk at home you can use water instead. You also can replace the agave syrup with coconut sugar. Maybe you need a little bit more liquid than. .

200 g spelt flour
3 tbsp agave syrup
1 tsp baking powder
300 ml oat milk
1 tsp rape seed oil or coconut oil


Combine the 3 dry ingredients (flour, agave, baking powder) in a bowl. Add the milk to your mixture. Mix until smooth.

Heat a skillet over medium heat. Add oil. Reduce the heat to medium. Pour a heaping spoonful of pancake batter onto the hot pan, and cook until bubbles form. Then flip, and cook the other side. Serve the pancakes with fresh fruit, jam or apple puree.

    1 1/4 Oat Milk
    Is this correct?

    I see a lot of your recipes use rapeseed oil, I have used olive oil because we don’t have your oil where in th Us. ❤️Ed your lasagna by the ay!

      Hello Cindy,

      sorry that my late response. Well, its 200 g spelt flour so I think its 1,5 cups and 300 ml oat milk should be 10 oz (2 portions). I hope that helps. I would not recommend using olive oil because then you have a strong olive oil flavour in your pancakes. Rapeseed oil instead is very tasteless. It is the same with coconut oil. I don’t like it when my pancakes have this coconut flavour. So I use it rarely. Even coconut oil is very healthy. Maybe you can try sunflower oil? Love hearing that you liked the lasagna recipe 🙂

    Weeßte, dit hat jut jeschmeckt. Mit eener kleenen Banane statt Süßungsmittel und Hafermilch! Kann ick dit Mehl durch Mandelmehl ersetzen?

      danke freut mich das dir Pancakes geschmeckt haben. Ob du das Mehl 1 zu 1 mit Mandelmehl ersetzen kannst weiß ich leider nicht. Damit habe ich leider keine Erfahrungen.
